Should I set up a new email box for online surveys?

Should I set up a new email box for online surveys?

That's a good question!  In some ways it would be great to keep your survey invitations out of your regular mailbox.  Depending on your demographics and the demographics that the online surveys are looking for, you may receive survey invitations frequently.  A male friend of mine receives survey invites from one survey company nearly every day.  When he has time, he goes through and decides which to respond to.  Some companies will also send out newsletters.  So YES, it may be a good idea to do this - especially if you are joining more than one online survey company.

On the flip side, you do need to remember to check this mailbox frequently.  Sometimes surveys are only looking for a certain number of respondents.  And sometimes they send out the invites to fill up the last few remaining quotas.  You need to be quick if you want to respond to these surveys. Also, you don't want to miss any emails alerting you of a prize!

There is good and bad about using different email addresses.  It is up to you whether you set up a dedicated mailbox for online surveys.  You can always sign-up for online surveys using one email address and update your email address to another mailbox if it isn't working for you.

Regardless of whether you set up a dedicated email address or not, it's a good idea to add the online survey email to your safe senders or contact list.  This way your emails will end up in your inbox rather than your junk mail.  I also check my junk mail just to be sure something important isn't in there.  I then delete all of the junk messages.  They build up quickly.

Once you decide which email to use, you'll find a great list of legitimate online survey companies at SavvySeekers.com.  Sign up and start earning great rewards, including cash, today!

How do I earn cash with Focus Groups?

How do I earn cash with Focus Groups?

Have you always wanted to participate in Focus Groups?  A focus group is a discussion where a group of people get together to talk about an issue, product or service.  A client may conduct a focus group as they will get more information from a focus group than a survey.  They are willing to pay larger amounts for this information. The discussion typically takes place at a facility in a central location of a major city.  There is a moderator who leads the session - asking questions and making sure everyone gets to voice their opinion.

When you are invited to participate in the group, you will be told where the group will be held, how long it will take and what you will be paid for participating.  Payment typically will range from $75 to $200, depending upon the length of the discussion and the type of people they are looking for.  For example, they may pay more for a discussion with engineering professionals than with homeowners.  Payment is usually cash and you will receive the cash payment at the end of the discussion.

How do you participate in focus groups?  Many market research companies are recruiting from their online survey members.  When you register for online surveys at www.savvyseekers.com, you will be asked if you would like to participate in focus groups.  Say YES and you'll be on the list.  Focus groups cover a huge variety of topics.  It's an interesting experience and you can make extra cash for taking part.

Should I give my personal details to online survey companies?

Should I give my personal details to online survey companies?

If you are signing up with legitimate free surveys, like the surveys listed on www.savvyseekers.com, you should give them your personal details.  Here's why:

  • Your contact details will be used to email online surveys to you.  In fact, they won't email you surveys to take unless you click the confirmation link that they will email to you.
  • Details of you and your household will be used to send you surveys that will be applicable to you.  For example, you won't be emailed a survey about diapers if you don't have a baby in your household.  This means that you will be available for surveys that you will be more likely to qualify for.
  • Many survey companies have quality checks in place.  They may catch discrepancies in your responses across different surveys. You wouldn't want to stop receiving surveys or lose the points you have earned because they are questioning your responses. It's always easiest to answer the truth.
And the main reason - Your name and address will be used to send you any rewards that you have earned!

Sign up with the legitimate online surveys on www.savvyseekers.com and your information will be kept confidential.  All of the companies listed belong to Market Research Associations and abide by privacy and confidentiality regulations.  We cannot say whether online surveys on other sites are legitimate, but we're happy to help you if we can.

Why should you take online surveys?

Have you always wondered about taking online surveys? We’ve got some information that will answer any questions you have!

Why should you take online surveys?

Market Research companies need consumer feedback for their clients.  These clients may be launching a new product or service, or they may require feedback on their current products or services.  The bottom line is that they need consumers like you to give honest opinions, and in exchange for taking their online surveys, you will receive REWARDS.

The rewards will vary depending upon the survey company.  The rewards may be cash, gift cards, points programs, draws/sweepstakes or other prizes. Most companies will give an individual reward for taking each survey and will also offer draws/sweepstakes at various times of the year.  Sometimes the draws are small monthly draws, for example $1000, but there are also much larger annual prizes - $40,000!  At www.savvyseekers.com we know a lot about online surveys and we list the rewards beside each survey company so you can select the companies with the rewards you would like to earn.  Also, when you are emailed the survey link, you are typically given the length of the survey and the reward.  It's up to you to decide which surveys to participate in.  But remember - the more surveys you take, the quicker your account will build up!

Online surveys are a WIN-WIN!  You can improve products and services that you and your household use everyday AND you can earn cash and other great rewards just for taking free online surveys.

Top 5 things you should know to have a rewarding online survey experience!

We are market research professionals and if there’s one thing we know – it’s legitimate online surveys.  There are plenty of companies that try to make you think they are legitimate market research companies.  At www.savvyseekers.com we can help you know which are and which are not.

Here are some online survey tips you should know:

  1. You don’t need to pay anything to take online surveys.  You don’t need to pay to join or receive your rewards – so please don’t.  Sign up with us or do some Googling and you’ll find online surveys to join for free.  You’ll be earning rewards before you know it.
  2. You can’t earn a living and you won’t get rich taking online surveys.  You may earn enough to have a movie night or the occasional dinner out.  If you’re lucky, you may win a larger prize.  Please don’t believe the websites that tell you you can live off of your earnings from taking surveys.  That’s just not true.
  3. Check your email often for survey invitations.  Don't wait too long to participate.   Some surveys will fill up quickly because sometimes they are only looking for a certain number of participants.  Take as many free surveys as you can.  This will help you earn even more!
  4. Some surveys are for people with certain demographics – it may be based on where you live, your gender or whether you have bought dishwasher tablets in the past month.  It’s annoying to be ‘screened’ out of a survey, but keep trying and we’re sure you will qualify for one soon.
  5. Answer the questions honestly.  Most market research companies have quality control processes in place.  They may compare your responses across different surveys or check how long it took you to complete the survey.  Companies are willing to reward you for your time, but let’s be fair to them too.
We have more information about taking legitimate online surveys on http://www.savvyseekers.com/.  You can learn how the sign up process works, what's next once you have joined free online surveys and how much money you can make taking online surveys.
